It's the age of shut downs, lockdowns, social distancing, no hugs, no comedy clubs, no get togethers.  It can be hard to stay positive. Did you know it is scientifically proven that humour is not only a strong form of resilience, but according to the smart people of the world... "Individuals who are ill are recommended to laugh as a mode of therapy, since previous research has shown laughter to increase the bodily immune function."  International Journal of Medical Sciences, 2009.

So we thought of a way you can stay connected, still have a laugh and raise urgent funds for those most affected by the Coronavirus pandemic all at the same time.  It's called Random acts of Laughter.

All you have to do is film yourself, your dog, your cat or even your goldfish doing something hilarious, post it on your social media (any will do), hashtag with #RAOL and tag 3 people to challenge them to do their own random act of laughter. If you can donate just $2 (the cost of a toilet roll) it will go toward supporting those most affected by the coronavirus pandemic around the world. All proceeds raised from the RAOL campaign will go to the World Health Organisation (WHO) Covid-19 response fund and Jerry’s House for their efforts to provide support to those affected by the coronavirus pandemic.

There's just a couple of guidelines to keep it on track:
Be legal and safe,
Be family-friendly,
Don't be harmful or insulting,
Don't scare anyone!

Just film, tag, share and donate.... then wash your hands!

The Random Acts Of Laughter campaign is proudly brought to you by Jerry’s House. Jerry’s House Limited is a registered charity in Australia (DGR) and the US (501c3). All donations over $2 are tax deductible.
